Shahid-Priyanka Liplock in KAMINEY took 5 retakes!!

Shahid Kapur, the handsome hunk of bollywood who plays lead in upcoming flick Kaminey opposite sizzling hot Priyanka Chopra, has a steamy kissing scene with her that leads to their final love making.



For the hot liplock scene, director Vishal Bhardwaj had to take five retakes as he wanted the shot to be taken from different angles to perfectly fit in the overall frame of the mega- budget flick. This particular shot was taken by Vishal Bhardwaj in Mumbai, while lovemaking and other accompanying sequences had already been shot at Lonavala, about two months earlier.



In fact, this kissing scene was being shot by Priyanka Chopra and Shahid Kapur as an afterthought, especially when Vishal Bhardwaj showed them the entire clip of love- making sequence, shot earlier at Lonavala.

The grapevine has it that originally Priyanka Chopra had refused to shoot for a kissing scene with Shahid Kapur for ‘Kaminey’, when Vishal Bhardwaj requested her to do so. Priyanka Chopra’s reasoning was simple that as she had not been told about the kissing sequence before hand, she would not do it at this stage of the film.

But Vishal Bhardwaj’s reasoning was that without a passionate kissing scene between Shahid Kapur and Priyanka Chopra, the whole sequence of intimate love making would lose its intensity. On screen, the whole sequence would look very unconvincing, but Priyanka refused at that time, and Vishal went ahead with the intimate sequence without kissing.

However, when Priyanka and Shahid saw the final cut themselves, it was clear that something was missing from the film. It was at that point that Priyanka agreed to perform the kissing scene with Shahid.

The buzz is that Priyanka Chopra did not want to kiss Shahid Kapur as she had never been fond of PDA. In fact, she had refused to kiss even her then boyfriend Hurman Baweja in his debut film ‘Love Story 2050’, and was criticized for that.

However, later Priyanka Chopra had made a concession for Madhur Bhandarakar’s flick ‘Fashion’, wherein she kissed newcomer Arjan Bajwa in a hot sequence. But at that time Priyanka Chopra’s refrain was that old familiar line…. ‘it was demand of the script’,…. and one can expect the same line this time too, no??
